CARLSBAD, CA, May 6, 2022 – What a year! ROAM Advisors is turning one today. This last year has been a whirlwind. This time last year, I worked my last day as the CIO with the US Capitol Police where I served for over five years. What was next? A much needed sabbatical. My wife and I are California natives, and it was time to return home. But we took the long way and spent five months exploring our beautiful country. In September, we settled into Carlsbad, CA. With our minds and bodies refreshed, we were ready to get back to work doing the things we love. The sabbatical was a perfect time to reflect, re-prioritize, and come back renewed. We felt like we were in our 20s again, but with the knowledge and experience gained after 20 years of federal and military service.
